These Terms apply to the LingoPath mobile app (iOS / Android) and accompanying services (the "Service").
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete the app.
2. The Service
LingoPath provides language learning for Japanese, English and Chinese, including courses, word banks, review scheduling and placement tests. Some features require a Premium subscription. We may update the Service from time to time.
3. Accounts & Sign-in
You may register with an email address or sign in with Apple / Google;
Keep your credentials safe — losses caused by negligent safekeeping are your responsibility;
Do not lend, transfer or sell your account;
Accounts registered under someone else's identity may be removed or frozen.
4. Subscriptions & Auto-renewal
Premium subscriptions are paid via Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android); the prices shown in the app prevail (reference: monthly $3.99 / quarterly $9.99 / yearly $19.99);
Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically within 24 hours before the period ends unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before expiry;
Manage or cancel anytime in system settings (iOS Settings → Subscriptions / Google Play subscriptions); Premium remains available until the end of the paid period;
"Restore purchases" in the app recovers entitlements after reinstalling or switching devices;
Refunds are handled by Apple / Google under their own policies.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code or word-bank data;
Scrape course or vocabulary content with automated scripts;
Interfere with the Service or bypass payment / access restrictions;
Use the Service for anything unlawful or harmful to others.
6. Intellectual Property
The software, course content, word banks, example sentences and interface design remain the intellectual property of the developer, Jiashun Yang (third-party open data is used under its respective open-source licenses with attribution). These Terms grant no rights beyond normal personal use.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is"; learning outcomes vary by individual and no express or implied guarantee is given;
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service;
We are not responsible for outages caused by force majeure or third parties (Apple / Google / network carriers), but will use reasonable efforts to mitigate them;
In no event shall aggregate liability exceed the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Changes & Termination
We may modify, suspend or terminate parts of the Service; material changes will be announced in-app or by email. You may delete your account in-app; upon deletion these Terms terminate, while existing subscriptions follow Apple / Google policies.
9. Minors
The Service is rated 4+. If you are under 18, use the Service — and make any purchases — under a guardian's guidance.
10. Privacy
For how we collect and process personal data see the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Updates to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time and will post changes here with an updated effective date; material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the developer's place of residence. Disputes shall first be resolved amicably; failing that, by the court with jurisdiction at the developer's place of residence.

設定（iOS「設定 → サブスクリプション」/ Google Play の定期購入管理）からいつでも管理・解約できます。解約しても支払済み期間の終了まではご利用いただけます；
機種変更・再インストール後は、アプリ内の「購入を復元」で権利を復元できます；
返金は Apple / Google の各ポリシーに基づき処理されます。
5. 禁止事項
本サービスのリバースエンジニアリング、逆コンパイル、ソースコードや単語帳データの抽出行為；
自動スクリプトによるコース・語彙コンテンツの一括取得；
サービスの正常な運営を妨害する行為、課金・アクセス制限の回避；
法令違反または他人の権利を害する目的での利用。
6. 知的財産権
本サービスのソフトウェア、コースコンテンツ、単語帳、例文、インターフェースデザインの知的財産権は開発者 Jiashun Yang に帰属します（第三者のオープンデータはそれぞれのオープンソースライセンスに基づきクレジット表記のうえ使用）。本規約は、個人の通常利用を超える権利を付与するものではありません。
